About Me

I am so glad you are here! I created this site to help those suffering from OCD and those to care for loved ones with OCD. Most people don’t understand how hard it is to live with this disorder because of how it is portrayed in the media. I am out to dispel the myths and give my fellow OCDers some strategies and tools to use when they need to get unstuck.

Hey there, I’m Toi

Diagnosed with OCD at twelve, I struggled with the disorder for 30 long years. It escalated in my early 40s, making even getting dressed seem impossible. After much searching, I found the help I needed. It should not be that hard. I picked up great tips and tricks along the way to aid fellow OCD sufferers – whether you’re seeking treatment or between sessions. I wish I could go back and give my younger self these tools. So I want to give them to you.

Although not a psychologist, I am an instructional designer and OCD survivor. I created this site for those seeking or undergoing treatment who need extra help, and those looking for the proper care.  I’ll share what helped me and can offer coaching for those who want to learn from someone who has been where you are. I’ve been in the trenches and learned how to get OUT of OCD.

Big hugs,

Toi
